Lisa McGrath’s practice focuses on solving legal problems related to social media, the Internet, marketing, advertising, E-commerce, mobile apps, privacy, and technology. Throughout her practice, she has counseled clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies and advertising agencies to hospitals and state and local governments. She also speaks frequently on social media law as it relates to the financial, healthcare, government, advertising, and other private and public sectors.

She began her career in Washington, D.C., serving as a Law Clerk for the United States Senate Judiciary Committee and later as a Counsel in the United States Senate. She returned to her home state of Idaho to clerk for former Chief Justice of the Idaho Supreme Court Daniel Eismann and later served as a commercial litigator in private practice.

She received her J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law, and her B.A. in political science cum laude from the Honors College at Boise State University.
